"Have a Go": The club organises regular "Have a Go" days to enable you to try the game out with family and friends. All equipment is provided. All you need is a pair of flat soled shoes.. Our Games: New players are offered: (AC) Association Croquet – a game akin to snooker played on grass. It is a game where the winner is the first side to score 26 points (hoops) or have the most points (hoops) when the game time expires. A point is scored when a ball passes through a hoop in order and at the end of a game when both of the players balls, strikes the peg. (GC) Golf Croquet – it is simple to learn and to develop good skills. It is an excellent game for beginners and social players as well as the more serious competitor. Players each take one colour ball and each turn consists of one stroke each at playing their ball towards the target. The balls are always played in a fixed order of colours. Part of the strategy of the game is to get a ball ready to make a hoop, while preventing the opposition from doing so themselves !! Subsequently, players may elect to play: Please contact a committee member if you wish to register your interest for "have a go days"click here
